Virgin Russian Hair
What has become so confusing about the hair extension industry today is that it appears to be that everybody is selling “Russian hair” in salons and on websites, yet some of these suppliers do not have the experience or knowledge of what genuine virign Russian hair looks like.. So who do you trust?
Unfortunately ‘Russian hair’ has become a ‘buzz’ word in the industry, prompting everyone to claim they either have it or else desire it. It is essential that when investing in Russian hair extensions, you are dealing with an expert who knows the difference in real Slavic Russian hair and the other hair that is just imported from Russia.
Of the few people who sell Virgin Russian hair very little if any sell DOUBLE DRAWN hair, most of them sell single drawn hair which means that the hair starts off thick at the top and goes thinner towards the ends because not all the hair is the same length. This hair is also offered at a lower price because less hair is used in the wefts.
DOUBLE DRAWN hair means every hair is the same lenth from top to bottom which means the hair is the same thickness from top to bottom which means your hair will be stunning!!
Slavic Russian Hair
This hair is like silk and the colours vary from brown to dark blonde. This colour difference is very significant as it means that if a client has very light blonde hair and/or highlights, the real Russian hair will only need to be lightened from a dark blonde/light brown base. This ensures that minimal processing takes place and the quality is assured. For clients with naturally dark blonde hair, the colour can be matched beautifully without the need for any chemicals. This hair is extremely rare, very few people have access to it - a source of great frustration to many hair suppliers!
It is also, certainly the most expensive hair on the market so do not be taken in by less expensive ‘so-called’ Russian hair. Much of the so-called “Russian hair” is actually very dark or black Aisan hair that has been heavily processed to look like Eastern European hair.
Once you have tried Real Slavic Russian hair you will never use anything else - poor quality hair is unacceptable once you have allowed yourself to experience the best.

- Buy from a recommended supplier - personal recommendations are always preferable.
- Be realistic about the price - if the price is cheap, the hair probably is too.
