How long does the hair last?
No one can ever guarantee how long your hair will last as it is very dependent on your lifestyle. Factors such as how often you wash your hair, whether you blow-dry excessively or leave your hair to dry naturally, the use of straighteners or frequent curly blow dries all have an impact on the lifespan of your extensions. Any processing, particularly heavy bleaching will also shorten the life of the hair. However real Russian hair still lasts longer than any other hair due to the lighter natural base colour, meaning minimal processing.
Dianne has clients who, with careful attention to their hair, have been able to enjoy their extensions for 1 or 2 years. This cannot be guaranteed as it is obviously very much down to the individual client i.e. how you look after your hair.
What do I do about colour matching?
All of the hair that you will receive from Dianne Marshall will be virgin hair which has never been chemically treated. The colours range from a light brown to dark brown. Occasiosionally natural dark blonde but this is rare and expensive. You may specify lightest possible or darkest but it’s just a guide as we do not custom colour. What we can offer is a recommended salon that is closest to your area, who can colour match and fit the extensions for you. These salons have all received personal training by Dianne Marshall and are used to working with her on a regular basis.
How long will I wait to receive my hair?
Generally the hair takes approx 2-3 weeks
Do you offer a re-weft service?
Yes we do. If you have snagged your wefts made by Dianne Marshall and the hair is still in good condition we can re-weft the hair for you, but remember you could lose 1-2 inches from the length and a small amount of width and weight.

I’ve never had extensions before, what is the method and how do I know what to order?
Hand made wefts are used for the weave method of hair extensions where your own hair is braided in small sections from ear to ear, then hand tied wefts are sewn on with a needle and thread. If you have never had extensions before and you don’t know what to order then you will need to have a consultation with a hair extension expert. Dianne has a list of salons that can direct you or you can simply ask advise from Dianne by email or phone.

Purchasing Russian Hair - Our Advice
- Ensure your supplier understands themselves what real Russian hair is
- Buy from a recommended supplier - personal recommendations are always preferable.
- Be realistic about the price - if the price is cheap, the hair probably is too.
- Make sure you purchase Double Drawn hair if you want thick luxurious hair from top to bottom
- Lastly, if you have purchased Siberian Russian hair from Dianne Marshall then you need not worry at all - your hair will look amazing!
